Nick Beamenderfer | Assistant Coach
Nick Beamenderfer serves as an Assistant Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the LaGrange College baseball team. Beamenderfer is the team's hitting coach and is in charge of the outfielders and catchers.
He has been on the program’s staff for nine seasons, with the first two being in a graduate assistant role. Over the last six years, the Panthers have gone 168-64 overall and 73-22 in the USA South.
During this time, the Panthers have made four straight trips to the NCAA Division III tournament from 2017-21, winning the USA South championship in all four seasons. Perfect Game has ranked LaGrange’s recruiting class as No. 1 in the Division III landscape in back-to-back years.
The 2017 team posted a program-record 40 wins and was ranked No. 1 nationally among Division III schools in the D3baseball.com/National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Collegiate Baseball Top-25 polls during its postseason run.
During the summer of 2013, Beamenderfer was an assistant coach for the collegiate summer league in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
A native of Lewistown, Pennsylvania, Beamenderfer was a three-year letter winner in baseball at Lewistown High School, earning All-Conference honors as a junior and senior.
He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Saint Vincent College in 2013. During his senior year, he maintained a .327 batting average and was an All-Conference selection.
Beamenderfer earned a master’s in philanthropy and development from LaGrange in 2016.
Corey Mingin | Assistant Coach/Pitching Coach
Corey Mingin begins his first season as an Assistant Coach for the LaGrange Panthers baseball team. Mingin helped coach Grace Christian Academy High School to a Georgia State Championship and the National Association of Christian Athletes National Championship in 2019.
He played baseball at Burlington County College for two years then transferred to Oklahoma Panhandle State University where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Health & Physical Education. He was a left-handed pitcher that was named two time all-region, two time all-conference, and pitcher of the year at Burlington County College.
He currently runs a travel baseball organization with my brother Ryan Mingin here in LaGrange called Klutch Baseball. They have helped numerous student-athletes reach their goal of playing college baseball.
Corey is originally from Delanco, New Jersey and now resides in West Point, Georgia.
